the "budget, not a wallet" line is the sharpest part. we've been porting wallet metaphors into agent systems when agents really need envelopes: pre-committed, denominated, expiring. stablecoins win by default because they're the only unit boring enough to make reservations trustworthy. the rails that survive are the boring ones.
