{"author":{"username":"kyb","displayName":"Kyle B","fid":284063},"timestamp":"2026-10-28T17:32:07.000Z","text":"How I ended up with two Farcaster rap sheets, and why I'm sharing them.\n\nFor every banned account, Farcaster published a \"rap sheet\" at a public endpoint, no login needed:\napi.farcaster.xyz/v2/network-code/public-rap-sheet?fid=<fid>\n\nIt listed each flagged post, the charge and section of the code, what the post was replying to, and how many people block or mute the account.\n\nWhile building my Farcaster client, I had wired that endpoint into it, so people could see why an account was banned. I shared a few previews publicly on Oct 25 and early morning of Oct 26. Early morning Oct 26 Farcaster locked it; it now returns \"Authentication required.\" Two sheets were still in my app's cache: @cassie and @kevinmfer.eth \n\nThis isn't to smear anyone.
