Having special art in there from the illustrators, interesting flavour text to item introductions or sneak peak of skills… all increases the anticipation. \nYou’d be like “wait! What was that graphic in the manual!? When can I unlock it!?” Such a great time to be experiencing games. \n\nI wrote about it on Steve’s reply on X, but fall out 2 had an awesome manual as well.
